Action

Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough, we must do.

Men acquire a particular quality by constantly acting a particular way. We become just by performing just actions, temperate by performing temperate actions, brave by performing brave actions.

 Words are a form of action, capable of influencing change.

 I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.

First say to yourself what you would be; and then do what you have to do.
