NEW DELHI. The convener of Bundelkhand Ekikrit Party Sanjay Pandey said that the MP’s and MLA’s of Bundelkhand are not serious about formation of separate Bundelkhand state. According to him the above demand can not be implemented till the MP’s and MLA’s of Bundelkhand region become serious about the issue. Mr Pandey said that the demand of the separate bundelkhand state is not a new issue but still the state could not be created.
According to SANJAY PANDEY the convener of Bundelkhand Ekikrit Party there is a movement for the demand of separate Bundelkhand state since last 50 years. But the implementation on this demand is still awaited. Bundelkhand is geographically the central part of India covering some part of MP and some of UP.The population of this region is apprx.
For assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh sheduled to be held on 25th nov 08,all the parties are making their compaigns in their own styles.Bundelkhand Ekikrit Party has made the issue of "separate Bundelkhand state" for assembly polls. Since the demand of separate Bundelkhand state is not a new issue but no party still made it an issue of elections. First time Bundelkhand Ekikrit Party is participating in elections after its registration with election commission of India.
