India

I want to know my Member of Parliament and Member of the Legislative Assembly

I heard somebody saying MPs and MLAs are public servants. I want to know how the public servant in my area is going to serve me? What are his / her roles and responsibilities?

I am a common man from the public. I also think that the RTI (Right to Information) makes me eligible to understand below facts about the MP / MLA in my area. I am particularly interested in the following information.

Should same sex marriages be legalized in India?

Is it Nationality or Sexuality? I did not see this much coverage for any issue related to nationality.

Legalizing unnatural behaviour would be an attempt to make it natural. Some people who would have hesitated will now be tempted to explore.

Will there now be a demand for reservation in jobs? As of now they are in minority. Should such couples be provided tax benefits as they will help keep the population in control?

After 10 / 100 years the count of such people will be much more and so will be considered a natural behaviour.

Are you in India? You are blessed.

There is no need to go to India or anywhere else to find peace. You will find that deep place of silence right in your room, your garden or even your bathtub.

Make Sanskrit India's National Language

To The Government of India:

This petition is to solicit nationwide support to make Sanskrit National Language of India.

WHY?

Elections in India: Use 49'O to express your dislike!

People! Use 49'O.

In a particular constituency, if a voter has dislike to all of the candidates competing there then he can show his dislike to all of them by registering for 49'O.

Steps for doing this:

  1. While registering the name by the time of voting, convey the booth officials that "I want to go for 49'O".

  2. Register your signature in the 49'O form available there.

Done.

If the number of 49'O count turns out to be more that the votes of the winning candidate a re-election will have to be called in that area.
