Convert ideas into intentions. Then, help people to visualise the (now) intention. With the powerful charisma of the leader visualisation goes deeper into their heart. Then, they can do anything for it. At workplace, atleast managers need to be trained to visualise their intentions. They in turn will motivate the team members to complete tasks with 100% involvement.
Everybody has both - good and bad in him. Wake up the angel, let the dragon sleep. Both can not be wide awake at the same time. If the dragon is awake
- win it into win-win with the magnet of
  - character
  - charisma
  - exemplary behaviour
  - deeds and
  - results
- weaken it
  - by inducing the visualisation for action and results
  - by praising the angel i.e. praising the desired action and behaviour
  - tie it with discipline and make it inactive.
  - threaten
    Else, slay the dragon.
Once, the goals are decided and specified leave your people to achieve.
Insist on standards.
