Drupal vs. Joomla: Fit for all solution

I have been researching on Open Source CMSs for quite some time now. I tried quite a few CMSs and almost every CMS available at opensourcecms.com. I explored Drupal more because Mambo no longer existed and Joomla I did not notice at that time. Then, came the Packt OpenSource CMS award and I got glued to Joomla! until...

Here is my attempt to find a solution to satisfy all needs. Below are some features available with Drupal to make it a choice for deploying powerful sites.

1. Drupal provides a lot of flexibility. Of course, you need to understand the powerful features and sometimes even code to utilize its full potential.
2. Drupal provides powerful multi-site feature with single installation.
3. Drupal is community driven and everything seems to be free unlike Joomla where most of the resources/ components are actually paid ones.
4. Even IBM chooses Drupal as an open source tool to implement a project for developing a collaborative Web site. Here is the project overview.
5. Drupal provides out of the box SEO-friendly URL's.

Joomla has its own advantages mainly for simplicity of use. I think using Joomla as a site run on Drupal based site would be wonderful. Run a Joomla based CMS site as a subsite of Drupal based site and share your experience :-)
