Refresh your mind

Hello Everyone,

Nature provides all resources for the peace of our mind and soul. But very rarely we get time to be with nature. We think that it will take too much time, we are busy with so many other things, work, home, shopping, kids, friends, etc. etc. We continue to be involved in the daily life and soon we are tired and the lack of energy affects our daily routine. When we get back from work, we hardly have any energy left in us, all we can do is to watch TV (the most passive thing to do) and eat and sleep. 

This cycle has an inherent problem - we think that resting or watching TV or sleeping late will recharge us, but that's not true. We are in perpetual lack of energy and we become zombies or run on autopilot.

How do we recharge ourselves? BE WITH NATURE - just spend some time with nature, breathe in oxygen and soothe your eyes with greenery. Notice your breath right now - is it shallow? I am sure it is. Yoga says breath=prana (life) and yet we hardly breathe properly whole day. We are too stressed out to even take deep breaths. When our anxiety levels are high, our breath becomes shallow and we don't even realize this.

Surprisingly, we don't have to go far to be with nature, maybe a park close by or even a wasteland nearby may be full of nature. I discovered this when I took a diversion behind our apartment complex. It is a vacant land, which got water logged in the rains. There were birds which we normally don't see in the cityscape.

Real good things are so

Real good things are so simple and easy to get only if we are ready to receive and do not unnecessarily complicate things. I checked your photo blog. Nature in abundance, looks like you found paradise in your neighbourhood :-)
