In July 1987, Forbes magazine published news, which surprised even the Sanskrit pandits.
It said that, “Sanskrit is the most convenient language for computer software programming.”
It filled the hearts of all those who love and study Sanskrit with great joy and enthusiasm
as it opened the doors to new fascinating world of Sanskrit studies.Sanskrit is extremely
rich, powerful and expressive language. Its potentialities are gradually being appreciated
all over the world, and its application is being extended in different fields.
To mention a few, Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Hyderabad is working
on a project called Natural Language Processing (NLP). The goal of NLP is to build
Computational methods of natural language for its analysis and generation. Similar work
is going on at C-DAC, Bangalore. The project is called Natural Language Understanding (NLU)
NASA : Sanskrit as a possible Computer Language
Researchers at NASA have been looking at Sanskrit as a possible computer language because of its perfect morphology that leaves very little room for error. Pāṇini’s Ashtadhyayi shows significant similarities to the Backus-Naur Form grammar that is used to describe modern programming languages today. Many Sanskrit enthusiasts and linguists hope that, one day, Sanskrit will become the language of the world. Its clear and precise language structure enhances communication and opens alternative means for expression.

Report By A Nasa Scientist :- America is creating a 6th and 7th generation super computers based on the samskruta language for the use of super computers to their maximum extent.Project deadline is 2025 (6th generation) 2034(7th generation) after this there will be a language revolution all over the world to learn samskruta.

NASA, the most advanced research center in the world for cutting edge technology, has discovered that Sanskrit, the world's oldest spiritual language, is the only unambiguous spoken language on the planet.
Considering Sanskrit's status as a spiritual language, a further implication of this discovery is that the age old dichotomy between religion and science is an entirely unjustified one.
Sanskrit is indeed a perfect language in the same sense as mathematics, but Sanskrit is also a perfect language in the sense that, like music, it has the power to uplift the heart.
