Why does no body care about God?

I do not know why people behave like this -
They do not tolerate disregard to Prophet Muhammad, Hindu Gods or Jesus. Why is it then no body reacts to attacks on God?
Very sad actually
This is obviously because we do not feel connected to God as much as we should do. Name of God is being used for petty interests.
We need more religious heads who embrace all the religions than any religious heads confined to a single religion.
Nothing to be sad about mates!
God is every individuals concept which is easy to be exploited by a third person than anything else. The belief itself is so fragile, that it hardly takes time for someone to convert from following one set of belief to another. More the number of religions and religious heads, more would be fights among people. As it is rightly said, 'God doesn't need man, man needs God!' Any reaction to an event would lead to further oppression, be it insulting a particular God or person.
By the way...does God get upset when he/she/it is insulted? How do you know it? What is God..btw?
